With the clock ticking away towards Malawi's historic fresh presidential election, gospel songstress Rudo Chakwera has brought together a number of musicians for a worship night on Friday 19th June to be streamed live on Facebook and Youtube.

The musician is married to the son of Malawi Congress Party president and Tonse Alliance torchbearer Lazarus Chakwera, but she refused to drawn into commenting on who people should vote for.
"May God grant us the one he has anointed for such a time as this. Our role is to pray and go vote," was all she could say.
Artists on the roster include Chakwera herself, Breathe of Life from Dzaleka, Rich Sax and Worshipers Hub.
Chakwera has since asked her fans to support the event by donating a minimum of K2,000.
"We have a budget and there's a lot that needs to be done including equipment hire, venue hire, transport of people including providing food. We may also need to pay stipends for all the technical team that will assist make this happen including the others.
"All this requires money and we are glad that people are understanding that to put up any event, one needs money. People are free to donate whatever they can via airtel money, Mpamba or MO626," she added.
