Taxi businessman wins K24 million in Jackpot 13

A 29-year-old Lilongwe-based taxi businessman, Kondwani Khusa will forever remain indebted to betting after he won K24 million in PremierBet Jackpot 13.

This makes him Jackpot 13's first biggest winner in Malawi.

Khusa used K480 to predict 13 games correctly.

Speaking during a cheque handover in Lilongwe on Wednesday, Khusa said he was delighted and intends to use part of the money to boost his business.

“Obviously I will use part of the money to buy some more cars to boost my business. I am happy to be the first Malawian to win Jackpot 13. From the business, I will employ more drivers thereby contributing to the development of the country,” he said.

Even though he has won the cash, Khusa says he will not stop playing Jackpot 13.

PremierBet Area Manager for Central region Daniel Fatch said they are also happy to have the biggest winner in Malawi.

“As a company we give 13 games during weekdays where those playing must predict correctly. Jackpot 13 is different from Jackpot 15 where the winner gets K240 million maximum. With Jackpot 13 the highest winner gets K48 million. This one won K24 million because someone in Angola also predicted exactly like Khusa. Remember, this is an online game and is accessed by different players in the countries we are operating from,” Fatch said.

Khusa hails from T/A Chiseka village headman Chiphe in Lilongwe.
