The three top teams in the TNM Super League, Silver Strikers, Ekwendeni Hammers and Red Lions have a chance to dislodge each other and occupy top spot as the league returns on Friday.
After about three months of suspension of football activities in the country due to COVID-19, teams return to battle for maximum points.
Current leaders, Silver Strikers face competition from the two teams as Red Lions face travelling Mzuzu Warriors at Chiwembe Stadium on Good Friday.
Red Lions' are the favourites of this encounter as they play a second from bottom side.
With 19 points from 10 games, the Zomba-based Lions stand a chance to return to the top spot which they occupied for some weeks if they beat the team formerly known as Mzuni.
That however depends on the outcome of the other game involving Ekwendeni Hammers against Be Forward Wanderers.
Hammers were enjoying top performance before, no wonder they produced two players who were invited into camp at the Malawi national football team, with one making the final selection by the coach.
Being on second position on the table offers Hammers a chance to carry the day, more also because they are playing at their backyard, Mzuzu Stadium.
Wanderers have not been in impressive this season, playing seven games and amassing seven points.
With 19 points, Hammers also stand a greater chance of jumping to the top of the table.
If the two teams manage to win and dislodge Silver Strikers on first place, the Lilongwe based giant will have a chance to reclaim the spot or lose it on Monday as they host TN Stars.
Other games involve Civo Service United against TN Stars on Friday, while Tigers host Ntopwa at Kamuzu Stadium.
On Saturday, Karonga United will play Mafco, while Kamuzu Barracks will dance with Blue Eagles.
Nyasa Big Bullets will play Mzuzu Warriors on Saturday, and Tigers on Monday.
