President Lazarus Chakwera led the nation in commemorating World Aids Day at Mitundu Primary School ground in Lilongwe rural.

The day was observed together with the International Candlelight Memorial and also saw the launch of the National HIV and AIDS strategy to guide the national response from 2020-2025.

The event pooled together people from all walks of life.
