Nyasa Big Bullets can now breathe a sigh of relief as head coach, Kalitso Pasuwa is guaranteed to stay on for the next three years until 2025.
On Wednesday, Bullets announced Pasuwa's contract extension after rumours that the Zimbabwean tactician was non-committal to stay further at the red side following the expiry of his contract.
Speaking in an interview after signing the contract, the former Zimbabwe national football team star and coach, said he was delighted to stay at the club he has managed to secure three consecutive league titles.
"I am very happy to extend my contract with bullets, working with a team like this has been very exciting especially this season where we have a new project and i wanted to see these youngsters becoming better and play senior football with maturity and with extension we hope everything will go well with the technical team i am having and we hope for the best this year," he said.
Bullets Chief Executive Officer, Suzgo Nyirenda said the team is still sees value in Pasuwa as they benefit from his expertise.
"Pasuwa's contract extension is what everyone at the club was waiting for, saying this expertise will see bullets achieving more especially from the project he has started.
"This is a good news to us and we are very excited to finally extend his stay with us and we are looking forward to achieving more with his expertise."
Apart from the league titles, Pasuwa has also won the people's team two Charity Shields and One Airtel Top 8 Cup.
As the season still rolls, Bullets are on second position on the log table with 20 points, two points below leaders Blue Eagles.
