The top performing teams in the Chipiku Central Region Football Leagues will get the reward of their hardwork on February 1 at Salima Community ground.
Central Region Football Association, which governs the leagues has announced through its general secretary, Bernard Harawa that they will award teams and individuals that have done well in the just ended season.
Salima-based soldiers, Mafco will officially be crowned champions after booking themselves an early return into the TNM Super League.
They were relegated in 2018, went back to the premier league where they managed to finish top with 103 points.
According to Harawa, the league will award the top five teams Mafco, Airborne Rangers, Silver Strikers Reserves, Dedza Dynamos and Holy Cross Ambassadors in the premier division.
The division one league has Ekas Freight Wanderers as champions, then the other four St Gabriel Medicals, Extreme, Simbi, and Majiga.
There will also be individual prizes including for the top goal scorers, players of the season, and the most disciplined teams.
CRFA are the second regional league to finish and hold the function after their Southern Region colleagues held the similar one in December for another Super League returnee, Red Lions.
Northern Region Football Association is yet to announce dates for the function to decorate Ekwendeni Hammers as champions.
