Nyasa Big Bullets Chief Administration Officer, Albert Chigoga has expressed hope about midfielder Peter Banda’s trials at a Moldovan club, FC Sheriff Tiraspol.
Sheriff have invited Banda for a month-long trial from January 14 to February 15 this year.
Chigoga said Banda, who joined the People’s team in 2019 has all it takes to prove his worth at the Eastern European country where he is to join Charles Petro.
“We wish him all the best; he is a talented player we believe that he is going to excel during these trials. We pray that God should guide him so that everything goes well. If all goes well, that is when the two teams will start negotiations. But for now, he is going for trials,” Chigoga said.
The 20-year-old joined Bullets from Griffin Stars after shinning in the First Capital Bank Under 20 League.
He was named the best player of the 2019 TNM Super League in his maiden appearance.
Banda is among the youthful squad Bullets coach, Kalisto Pasuwa entrusted in that year and managed to defend the league title apart from the numerous national team call ups.
If all goes well, the star will have a chance to play in the European competitions just like Petro did last year.
