It appears former Be Forward Wanderers defender, Erick Atsigah may not be returning to Ghana anytime soon as planned because another TNM Super League side, Karonga United have sought his services.
Atsigah parted ways with Wanderers on a mutual agreement after he asked to be released last week.
It was reported by his manager, Zachariah Nyirenda that the defender was heading home to start afresh, but on Sunday Karonga United announced he has joined them.
"Announcing the arrival of former Mighty Wanderers Fc defender Wallas Erick Atsigah in our camp. Welcome boy.. More details to follow," read the message on Karonga's Facebook page.
The agreement is said to be until the end of the 2020-2021 season.
This development comes exactly four days after Karonga also took on board Wanderers assistant coach, Oscar Kaunda.
The two are said to have opted out of the Nomads due to the financial problems that have rocked the team.
Apart from that, it is reported that Atsigah could not be featured for competitive games due to the unavailability of work permit.
The Ghanaian joined Wanderers in 2019 from Masters Security FC.
