It took 63 minutes for Malawi women's national captain, Tabitha Chawinga who plays for Inter Milan women's side to find the back of the net against Sampadoria.
This is her fourth goal in four matches since she joined the club from Chinese women's champions Wuhan Jiangda on loan.
Inter Milan's win has secured them a top spot at the league table with 10 points but they have stiff competition from Roma who are breathing on their necks with just a a point to match them.
Inter Milan won the match by two goals to nil and for Tabitha, this is an encouragement as she expressed how tough the match was.
She said she has settled in well in the new club and and is happy with how things are turning out thus far.
Malawi women's coach, Lovemore Fazili said Tabitha's progress is a motivation for other Malawian women footballers that it is possible to make it big as she has done.
Malawi National Women’s Football team captain Tabitha Chawinga has been named Sports Woman of the Year at the Malawi Sports awards.
